At Café Des Iles, we were tired of all the charlatans, scammers, and greed within the coffee industry. We were fed up with paying exorbitant prices for mediocre coffee at best. So we decided to take matters into our own hands and set up our own mill, working directly with local farmers and communities in the remote but up-and-coming area of Lampung Sumatra in Indonesia. This way, we could oversee the entire coffee process from crop to cup.

After spending the last five years searching for the perfect coffee bean, Café Des Iles has finally found its niche and purpose. With our family connections to the farms in the Sumatra Lampung area, we have spent the last two years (2020) putting our plans together to create a value-based business built on integrity and delivery on our promises. Our passionate vision was to bring Café Des Iles to the world and back to my home, back to the beautiful shores of Seychelles.

Today, we are proud to offer our premium (organic) coffee beans and blends sourced directly from local farms high in the Bukit Barisan Mountain Range of Indonesia. We believe that great coffee starts with great relationships, and we work closely with our local farmers and communities to ensure that we source only the best quality beans.
