And so began our journey, one that took us across continents, through coffee fields, along uncommon trails and remote hillsides, and into conversations with farmers who pour their hearts into every harvest. What began as an adventure in search of the perfect bean has finally become a vision fulfilled.

What we craft at Café des Iles
Speciality coffee starts with higher-grade beans that must score 80 to 100 points, this is done through a rigorous grading process by the international Speciality Coffee Association (SCA).
Just one minute or a few degrees during the roasting process can entirely transform the flavours that develop. This is why we develop specific roast profiles for each type of coffee, with the goal of highlighting the beans natural flavours.
Premium & Speciality coffees are typically roasted within days or weeks fo when you buy it. This allows for optimal aroma, brewing, and a flavour you keep coming back for.
Like wine, speciality coffees have unique and enticing flavour profiles that you can genuinely taste; from chocolate and caramel to citrus and florals. Each cup offers layers, depth, and a whole world of flavour to discover.

SUSTAINABILITY
Living on an island means understanding the impact of waste. That's why we are proud to be the first in Seychelles to use 100% home-compostable packaging for our coffee. All of our packaging breaks down naturally without the need for a composting facility or recycling plant. Once your coffee is finshed just place the packaging in with your food scraps, or the pile of leaves in your yard and it will naturally decompose and return to the Earth.
